Vending Machine Blog- How to move large vending machines by your self.

Vending machine blog posting a short article on how to move a snack machine and heavy vending machines  to and from locations. Soda machines are extra heavy and should be moved with safety and care. Below are a list of items that you should have in order to move a large  snack or soda machine. Keep in mind that this is one of many methods on how to move a snack machine.

Items that you will need:

• You will need a snack or soda vending machine
• You will need 1 person
• You will need a pallet jack like the one in the picture above
• A truck with a “lift gate” or a trailer with a nice ramp

As simple as this sounds all you do is roll the pallet jack over to the snack machine. Once in front of the vending machine slide the pallet jack underneath the snack vending machine and flip the switch on the handle of the the pallet jack so that you can pump the handle that will lift the machine off of the ground. Then you slowly wheel the vending machine to the lift gate on the truck or the ramp for your trailer and slide or lift the machine into the truck. Note that is lifting the snack machine with the lift gate not manually. A soda machine can weigh nearly 800 pounds so be careful. The weight of the machine is the reason why I prefer a pallet jack and not a hand truck. You can really hurt yourself  moving a snack or soda machine with hand truck and I do not recommend that procedure.
