Hello everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving! Pictured above is a nice bulk vending machine rack that is making lots of money every month. I want to talk about a few things that are going right with this bulk vending machine rack. The full article will include things that will help this machine generate more revenue.

Clean bulk vending machine

More often than not most vending machines are grubby and dirty. Dirt grime and graffiti frequent machines because of all of the foot traffic and kids that are pawing their dirty hands all over the machines. Lets face it money and coins are very dirty and so are kids hands. High earning locations must be visited and cleaned at least in my vending machine route once a week. These locations are your bread and butter and you really want to do everything you can to make sure the machines are cleaned so mothers feel good about their kids having their hands all over their machines. If their happens to be a machine with graffiti and dirt all over it your sales will be affected. In good locations with lots of foot traffic you may be prone to graffiti and you will have to be prepared to repaint your machine or cleaning the graffiti off of the machine while servicing. Having the right colored machine in those type of locations will have an affect on the frequency of graffiti and vandalism to your machine. This machine is very clean and doing it right and I wish it were mine. Does anyone have a specific color of machine that does not get much graffiti?

Another thing this machine is doing right are keeping the machine stocked with product. You do not want to show up to a machine that is empty for several days at a time. You will not only loose revenue but your location owner will be loosing revenue and that can be the difference of having a location that earns a lot of money for a long period of time and having your location switch to your competitor for service. Keep your machines full and you will see more money every month from your machine. More money every month is always a great thing.

Product Displays

This bulk vending machine is stocked with product and has “product displays” showing the customers what choices they have from that type of machine. Once a kid finds  a toy that they want from the machine they are more prone to trying more than once to get that toy or sticker or tattoo that attracted them to that product choice. Some products like the “Hommies” have become and epidemic with kids collecting series after series of the figurines. A “Live” product display costs more money but in my opinion provide more attraction to a particular product than the alternative product display.
