Spiral gumball machine 5′

So I really don’t know why they call this a 5 foot gumball machine. It is in fact a couple inches short of being five feet but who is really counting right? This is a Roadrunner Spiral Gumball Machine is manufactured by OK Manufacturing out of Salt Lake City Utah. The machines are quality durable machines that will stand the test of time. At least my personal spiral gumball machines have. My spiral gumball machines are not Roadrunner gumball machines but I have seen the Roadrunner gumball machines up close and personal at the trade show. What I’m saying is not just an opinion I have been able to see them up close and personal.

How it works
In the top you have a gumball globe that has all of the gumballs in it. The coin mechanism that accepts the money is right in the line of sight near the gumballs. As a quarter is twisted into the machine it falls through a tube running through the middle of the machine and hits the coin bucket in the base. There is a locked coin door in the rear of the base that can hold a lot of quarters.
After the quarter is deposited the gumball is spun out of the reservoir similar to smaller gumball machine versions and then rolls round and round spiraling until it hits the prize door at the bottom where you can retrieve your gumball. I believe kids really love to see the gumball go round and round and these machines take up minimal foot space so they are easy to place.
